Symbiotic Inks Agreement with Associated Food Stores for Warehouse Automation
Leading AI-enabled robotics technology company, Symbiotic, Inc. (Nasdaq: SYM) has entered an agreement with Associated Food Stores (AFS) to implement Symbotic’s AI-powered robotic warehouse automation technology in AFS’ Utah distribution center.
The commercial agreement will see Symbiotic’s technology implemented by AFS, a provider of groceries and other goods and services to independent retailers in nine Intermountain states.
Symbotic’s automation system, which features robotic case pick capabilities, will allow the AFS distribution center to improve a variety of retail-facing experiences, including overall supply, expanded selection and delivery of products to stores.
